Drone Racing LatviaOn May 13, 2023, in Bārbele (56.4631802972404, 24.61620462807434), the Latvian Open Cup for drone racing, stage 1, will take place.
The competition will take place according to the International Air Sports Federation (FAI) F9U rules, with double elimination to determine the winner.
Approximate time plan for the day:
- Arrival from 10:00
- Acquaintance with the track/safety briefing – 10:30
- Qualification flights – 11:30
- Elimination flights – 16:00
- Finals – 17:00
- Award ceremony at 17:30
Specific technical requirements for aircraft:
- LEDs are optional but preferred
- Video – ANALOG or HDZero transmitters, with circularly polarized antenna
- Ability to quickly switch between channels R3(5732), R4(5769), R6(5843), R7(5880)
- Remote control and video transmitters must meet the requirements set out in the regulatory acts of the Republic of Latvia.
